Dr. Afsaneh Latifi is a graduate of New York College of Podiatric Medicine and has 13 plus years of experience in her field of podiatry. For the past 22 years she has been living in the Upper East Side community of Manhattan and is proud that her daughter attends PS-6.
Dr. Latifi has participated in the NY and Boston Marathons as part of the medical team and has graciously taken the time to work as a Medical Assistant In Haiti and Guyana. She speaks English, German, and Farsi.
Prior to acquiring her new location in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Dr. Latifi worked with a private podiatry office in Mid-Town. She was committed to the belief that a doctor and patient become a team for treating an individual’s feet. Afsaneh’s goal is to provide a medical diagnosis and treatment of patient’s foot and ankle problems, so that they may be able to recover their comfort, strength, health and happiness.
Licenses/Certifications: Dr. Afsaneh Latifi was the recipient of the Patricia E. Kopenhaver scholarship in 1992. She has completed an externship with the Brighton University in the UK during her last year of Podiatry school. She graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in May of 1995 and subsequently completed one year of Podiatric Primary Care Residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center from 1995-1996, and a two year Podiatric Residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center from 1996-1998. She holds Podiatric licenses in the states of NY, NJ, CT and MA.
